I am back in Singapore again and this time the experience is different, besides the fact that I am far from home while still in the process of recovering from a bad case of LPR. Hoping to wrap this trip up with a lengthy update, for a change.

Just came from Singapore yesterday. It was supposed to be a ‘primer’ for the highlight of my 24th birthday but the trip didn’t feel that way.
There is more to be said of this. I just need time to gather my thoughts. And feelings. They’re just all over the place. Hah.

Gratuitous

Mom took this photo of (tourist-y) me just when I was about to begin reading Murakami’s memoir (I didn’t expect the shot to look nice :P). The calming sounds of sea and wind, the beautiful (wider!) blue sky, and the cream-colored sand were all a distraction.

I wish to go back to this place.

Seriously had Sharon and the Dap-Kings’ “This Land Is Your Land” playing in my head repeatedly almost the whole time we were up in the air. How nicely unoriginal. :P

I’m all sore today. Everyone at work gave the half of yesterday for obligatory time off. Some of my coworkers and I decided to try out paintball. I was the team’s sharpest shooter according to a teammate so for that compliment I congratulate myself. I had to wear my new pair of glasses under my helmet and now the frames are slightly bent.
